Just another health update, I guess. The esophagitis is pretty much gone now, I'm off the antacids and I am able to eat more than just one meal a day. Still have all my food allergies, though.
The chronic back pain is still an issue, and every since I've gone off the antacids, I've been getting shooting mussel pains all over, mostly in my leg though.. Left leg, the same leg as my messed up hip.
But I've been trying to keep myself busy all summer, and not in the computer chair as much as I normally am. I figure that sitting in the chair for hours on end triggers the pain. I've picked up a sewing class... Which is a pain in the ass because it's for knit fabrics, and its really hard to do. I was working on leggings, but my sewing machine decided to eat them, so I now have to start a new project.
I also, two days ago, adopted a 6 week old kitten. he's black, with some white fur in his neck and front legs. His name is Anubis. He's extremely clingy and will not let me out of his site. Which is understandable I guess, because cats know when something is wrong with their owner, and when they are in pain. So I suggest to anyone who has chronic pain or a chronic illness, to get a kitten. It's a lot of work to take care of, but it will get your mind off the depression that comes chronic pain/illness, and they will be a close companion. Plus, I've noticed, having a kitten really helps with motivational issues.
Yesterday I met with a photographer and we had tea, we will be shooting come September, because my birthday is later this month and I will be partying for like a week straight, and then I will be going on vacation and to another anime con during vacation.
